John Lee (ChowYun-Fat) is a professional killer with more than a few notches on his gun. When he's assigned to kill a seven-year-old boy, his conscience finally kicks in and he decides to hang up his gun, even though it puts him in danger with crime kingpin Terence Wei (Kenneth Tsang). Attempting to escape, he colludes with document forger Meg Coburn (Mira Sorvino); bullets, chases, and non-stop action ensue.
