Janeane Garofalo stars as a successful radio talk show host and veterinarian. Uma Thurman plays her model friend, and Ben Chaplin's cast as a charming gentleman who falls for the voice on the radio. When he turns up to meet her, the host becomes insecure about her appearance and asks her friend to pretend she's really the one. The truth could be revealed, but it'll take a long, funny, sometimes painful and often poignant journey to get there.
